Who Is Going Zip Lining

For Christmas my children and their spouses gave me something I have always wanted to do. I am going to have to wait for warmer weather but Zip Lining is in my future. I can’t wait.

For years I have heard of my friends going with their families and have always thought, “Boy I wish I could go” But I didn’t want to go by myself. I wish my husband would like to try these sort of things but he won’t even get on a roller coaster.

My daughter-in-law apparently heard me mention I wanted to do this and suggested it would be a good gift. Now that conversation we had a few months ago makes sense when she was questioning me about if I would really ever go zip-lining.

I found this photo and I can just close my eyes and know that will be me. My arms opened wide with a big smile as I check off something on my bucket list.

More On My Bucket List

Should I mentioned to them some of the other things on that list? Things like a Hot Air Balloon Ride, seeing the Grand Canyon, or going to Ireland? I always wanted to parachute but I crossed that off the list after seeing some nasty aftermaths of jumps gone wrong. Bungee jumping off a bridge would be fun. So many things I have always wanted to do.

A Gift Of Experience

I am not sure about you, but giving the gift of an experience is wonderful. In the past few years my kids have gifted me with a cooking class, a two hour one on one glass blowing class and last year they gave us a subscription to Netflix. Did you know there are no commercials when you watch these shows on Netflix? They go right into the next show and before you know it 4 hours have past and you have watched 3 seasons of Longmire.
