We Love Brookside’s “Garden of Lights”

And who wouldn’t love this show?  It’s total magic.   Rain showers, gazebos, plants and creatures, including this year an 11-foot giraffe covered in 9,000 lights.   No wonder it’s quickly become a family tradition for locals and visitors alike.  Click here for info about Garden of Lights.

New Year’s Eve Party at Brookside!

This looks like the perfect New Year’s Eve outing for families, ever.   It’ll be “filled with lights, music, crafts, give-a-ways and memories” and it only costs  $25.00 for a whole van or carload.  A bargain.

Stephanie Fleming was raised at Behnke’s Nurseries in Beltsville. Her Mom, Sonja, was one of Albert & Rose Behnke’s four children. She was weeding from the moment she could walk and hiding as soon as she was old enough to run, so many weeds, so little time. Although she quickly learned how to pull out a perennial and get taken off of weed pulling duty.
