What is Twosday?

This year, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, there is a lot of chatter about it being called Twosday! It is all about #2. My birthday is next week on Twosday the 22nd, and I have been celebrating all month long. Because, why not?

Stephanie’s Birthday Month

This month for my birthday, I did something I never thought I would do and something else I always wanted to do but never had the nerve. I have also embraced the whole Twosday movement. I even bought the shirt. If you know me, it was a big deal to spend money on a shirt for one day. But, seriously, I never do things like that.

I have mentioned a few times about a new business I started with Norwex. Yes, it is one of those Direct Sales Companies, and yes, I never thought I would get involved in something like this, but the whole idea that I could clean my home without all the toxic chemicals in our household cleaners hit home for me. I have lost too many friends to cancer, and while I don’t know the effect, these chemicals might have on our brains leading to Alzheimer I figured it is never too late to change my cleaning habits. I have more information at the bottom of this email if you are interested in learning more.

Rainbow Hair

And what did I do this month that was something I have always wanted to do? It has to do with my granddaughter’s favorite color ~ Rainbows. My mother just rolled her eyes when I walked into her home after I had a rainbow of colors put in my hair. But it made her laugh, and it made my little granddaughter Zoe jump up and down and tell me she loved it! And most importantly, it made me happy. I hope you find things that bring you joy and happiness. With March right around the corner, we are all looking for those first signs of Spring, like daffodils trying to burst up through the snow-covered ground. Or a flock of robins in your front yard. Or putting a spring rainbow in your hair!

I would love for you to share things that make you happy!

Stephanie Fleming was raised at Behnke’s Nurseries in Beltsville. Her Mom, Sonja, was one of Albert & Rose Behnke’s four children. She was weeding from the moment she could walk and hiding as soon as she was old enough to run, so many weeds, so little time. Although she quickly learned how to pull out a perennial and get taken off of weed pulling duty.
