Fabulous Tour to Benefit Brookside Gardens – May 17 (2014)
Fans of Brookside Gardens may have heard that it’s undergoing renovations and that parking is super-limited this year, which has led to the cancellation of big events there this season. But I’m here to report that even on a gorgeous Saturday in early May, I was able to park and visit. Which visit resulted in the video below and the photos it was made from.
So don’t forget to visit suburban Maryland’s stunning public garden, especially on weekdays if you can. More videos are coming documenting its beauty throughout the season.
Tour of Private Gardens to Benefit Brookside Gardens
A new garden event that started in 2012 is quickly becoming a popular tradition. It’s the self-guided Tour of Private Gardens of Montgomery County that benefits Brookside Gardens, so it’s a great tour for a great cause. Register at ParkPASS.org for the May 17th, 2014 (or just show up.) More info in this brochure, page 11. The cost is $20.
