So Many Treasures, So Little Time

I made it back from Atlanta last Friday night. Here is a picture I took from my hotel room Thursday morning. As I mentioned last week, I flew down to the AmericasMart to have a peek at what is new and exciting that we could offer on our online store.

I am happy to report that I found many of our old friends more than excited to partner with us in this new way. One place that many of you enjoyed is Campania. Most of our water features, statues, and concrete pottery came from Campania.

Once Larry Bristow gets it all set up, you will be able to look at all their inventory and order directly through us to your home. I also found a few more companies that sell gardening tools, gloves, and so much more. Plus, a few companies where we can offer unique home decor items.

Larry and I are excited to be working on this together. Thank goodness for Larry as he keeps the Behnke website and shopping experience up and going. Just a little plug here; if you are looking for someone to help you with your website, check him out. He is amazing.

What do you think of this Crazy Plant Lady Water Bottle? Something you might buy as a gift for that special friend? Or maybe just for yourself? And of course, from Campania we will soon be selling the always famous Zen Frog for your garden.

Stephanie Fleming was raised at Behnke’s Nurseries in Beltsville. Her Mom, Sonja, was one of Albert & Rose Behnke’s four children. She was weeding from the moment she could walk and hiding as soon as she was old enough to run, so many weeds, so little time. Although she quickly learned how to pull out a perennial and get taken off of weed pulling duty.
