Saying I am excited is putting it mildly. I am super excited that my first Beyond Behnke’s Gardening Podcast is a wrap!

As I mentioned a while ago, this has been in the works for over a year. A year of self-doubt that I should even attempt something like this in the first place. A year of wondering if you would even want to listen? A year of listening to so many other gardening podcasts and thinking there is no way I can do this. (That is where a lot of the self-doubt came from.) A year of my son encouraging me that I could do it and assuring me he would help me each step of the way. (he did!) Thank you, Steven!

I hope you enjoy this episode one. The plan is to have a new one on the 1st Thursday of each month. I already have a few guests lined up, but if you can think of people you would like me to invite, please drop me a note!

Stephanie Fleming was raised at Behnke’s Nurseries in Beltsville. Her Mom, Sonja, was one of Albert & Rose Behnke’s four children. She was weeding from the moment she could walk and hiding as soon as she was old enough to run, so many weeds, so little time. Although she quickly learned how to pull out a perennial and get taken off of weed pulling duty.
